First off, the management & staff of a wedding venue are the heart & soul of your wedding...and the family at WOTL are no exception. They will do everything within their power to make your special day the best day of your life. The management team (Michael, Danielle & \\\"Uncle\\\" Frank) worked with us for over a year to accommodate every request we had to make this day the day we envisioned. THEY ARE FABULOUS! We had some pretty unique ideas in the execution of our wedding - they worked with us on every aspect. A big deal breaker for us was the participation of our dog, Max, in the ceremony. When other venues said we could bring our dog for an outside ceremony, but if it rains, he's not allowed inside; and as luck would have it, the weather was horrible on our wedding day, but WOTL stepped up and moved the whole event inside and our pup/son Max made a grand entrance during the indoor ceremony. While on the topic of the big day, we can't forget to mention the staff, including Charles & Chelsea, who literally saved me from having a mental breakdown 20 minutes before the ceremony. I am a bit of a control freak and was formerly an event planner and decided to be groom & wedding planner. Despite the lack of a wedding planner, Charles stepped up as maitre'd and took the reigns when I needed him to make the day go off without a hitch. And Chelsea, our attendant, was literally waiting in the wings every time we needed something. It was utterly amazing how FABULOUS they made our day! A couple of things for couples looking at WOTL to consider: - Single Event Venue: We were the only event happening and that makes a huge difference when the staff (who did I mention are FABULOUS?) are strictly focused on your event. - FOOD, FOOD & MORE FOOD: Seriously, our guests are still talking about how much food we had (this was the basic menu w/ no additional packages) and the quality of the food is utterly FABULOUS! - Price Points: The rates are very competitive with Long Island wedding venues; we believe we actually got a larger and higher quality wedding for less money versus what we would have paid at some of the other venues we toured where we would have gotten less and been one of many events happening at the same time. - Vendor Package: We absolutely loved the photographer & videographer that came as part of the WOTL vendor package. The quality of their work is FABULOUS! In regard to the DJ/Entertainment company, we worked with a music director to create the soundtrack to our big day versus the DJ choosing the music to play. We provided pre-mixed music sets & protocol to follow throughout the reception. Not only did they agree to use our music protocol, but they did it with zero flaws! FABULOUS! We did have a slight issue with the limo service, however, and this is not a reflection on WOTL as you work directly with the limo company in the planning. Be aware there is a mandatory gratuity for the car service that takes the happy couple home after the wedding and an extra \\\"overtime\\\" fee for the shuttle bus service to take all your guests back to the hotels if you run even one minute over your contract expiration. Other than that, the drivers were great and on time for everything. It took a lot of work and dedication, but I was ultimately able to surpass my goal of a score of 700 (I got a 710 second attempt) through many hours of work and a highly effective Post Exam Assessment (PEA) after not reaching my goal on my first attempt, and having started out at a baseline of 570. I started the Interact course in the beginning of January, 2019. As an active duty member of the U.S. military, I had not exercised many of the academic skills tested in the GMAT in nearly 7 years. MGMAT Interact was a great tool that allowed me to \\\"plug back in\\\" at my own pace. I worked 10-15 hours per week for 3.5 months completing the Interact syllabus, and then left 1.5 months for review and practice before my test date in late May. I think the Interact syllabus could be completed in 2ish months with a less demanding work schedule. Owing to a very demanding work training tempo prior to my first attempt, I did not achieve my goal of 700 and scored 660. MGMAT offers a free, 1 hour Post Exam Assessment (PEA) on videochat with one of its tutors if you do not achieve your goal on attempt 1 and you are taking one of their courses. I had one month between my first and second attempt, but really only 2 weeks of good study time owing to work commitments. The PEA was highly effective. Elaine Loh did a great job of giving me tangible \\\"do this\\\" advice, while still really listening to and giving thoughtful answers to my questions. She helped me tailor essentially a 10-14 day study plan (obviously highly compressed) to give me the best shot of hitting 700. She sent me a ton of helpful drill sets for my weaker areas, and she gave me hard, tangible priorities for what I needed to work on and for roughly how long. She also helped drive home the importance of error logging. Most impressively, she stayed in contact with me for the next couple of weeks and promptly answered my questions via email. Her feedback on a day by day study plan I created helped boost my confidence in the final week before my second test attempt. Her efforts during the PEA and after it really underscored how MGMAT is committed to getting you to where you want to be, even if you don't hit your goal on your first attempt.
